The apparent phenomenon of sight when parallel lines appear to draw closer together when further away from your point of view. When you look at parallel railway tracks that maintain a certain distance apart, they seem to converge as they go off into the distance. This is because the proportion of your field of view that the tracks take up diminishes. The same for tall buildings as you look up.

Find a good example of converging verticals or horizontals. Good Luck
